About
La Condemine is an ancient Templar site. It was the stronghold of Beatrice de Bourgogne, wife of Robert de France, son of St-Louis. The polygonal edifice is protected by a moat. Visit of the restoration site and gardens free of charge.
The château was built on a polygonal plan, with high curtain walls protected by a moat. The entrance châtelet was erected by Charles I during the Hundred Years' War, and the south logis was converted during the Renaissance by Pierre d'Urfé.
