L'Augère is the oldest of the 13 castles in the commune of Agonges. Guided tour of the interior of the 15th-century château, the gardens and the museum of Bourbonnais venery.
The keep dates from 1441, as do the old drawbridge and the two dovecotes. The part to the left of the keep was restored in 1898 by the architect Moreau. The château (ISMH) has remained in the same family since its construction, and is still inhabited. In the restored outbuildings, a living museum of the world of the forest and Bourbonnais venery. Summer events (sound and light shows, etc.).
